Billings Montana is home of the Yellowstone Square Dance Council. Currently, 3 area clubs offer various levels of square dancing and round dancing. Starting in 2024, two of the square dance clubs will be dancing at the First Presbyterian Church and the Round dance club dances at the CASA Village Rec Hall. All clubs are open and we welcome visitors to attend any of the club dances which are normally held on a weekly basis  from September through May. Two of the clubs dance either Mainstream or Plus. One club is devoted to Round dancing.

Beginner Sessions start in October for those people who want to enjoy the benefits of square dancing. Any single or couple are encouraged to attend a session.

The Council also sponsors the New Years Day Dance, and the Magic City Hoedown every year. The Callers and Cuers Association sponsors a Christmas dance. Each club also sponsors special dances and visiting national callers will call and cue dances during the summer.
